Abstract

The research aimed to demonstrate that the application of the Moodle
Platform influences the academic performance of students of the C1
Advanced level of the CEP Mixto Peruano-Alemán Reina del Mundo,
La Molina, to obtain the C1 Advanced certificate from the University of
Cambridge. This research developed a quantitative approach,
experimental type, with a pre-experimental design. The population was
14 students from the 5th grade of Secondary; for the data collection of
the application of the Moodle Platform variable, it was applied a survey
and the Colles questionnaire instrument of polytomous scale as a data
collection technique. On the other hand, for the academic performance
variable of the C1 Advanced level students, the technique, survey was
used as a test instrument. In the results obtained, it was observed that
the pre-test of the academic performance of the C1 Advanced level
students presented a mean of 87.36 and a standard deviation of
13.293, and a standard mean of 3.553. In the posttest, the academic
performance of the C1 Advanced level students presented a mean of
110.29 and a standard deviation of 13.798, and a standard mean of
3.688, which allowed rejecting the null hypothesis. Therefore, it
concluded that the academic performance of the C1 Advanced level
students was good, due to the differences in means it was 22.93
higher than the pre-test.
