Abstract

The research methodology used was: hypothetical
deductive method, experimental design. The selected
population was 20 university students of the first cycle.
The evaluative technique was used and the content
levels were applied for the validity of the instrument.

For the reliability of the instrument, the Kuder-
Richardson Coefficient 20 was used, obtaining the

coefficient of 0.88. For the inferential statistic, it was
by hypothesis testing using Wilcoxon's W.
The results of the research showed that the
comparison of ranges of the mathematical learning
variable of the experimental group yielded results in
accordance with Wilcoxon's W (Z = -3.928; p = 0.003),
in addition to the ρ _value of the probability associated
with the statistic of test calculated from the data
obtained from the investigation is: p = .003 <.05
indicates the calculated value is less than the level of
significance; therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected.
Therefore, it was stated that: The “Solving” program
and logical thinking significantly influence the
development of mathematical learning in university
students, Lima 2020. Furthermore, the statistical
results show that the differences in scores between
pre and post-test are significant. Well, it was observed
that the experimental group 65% obtained terrible in
the pre-test and 0% in the post-test, in regular 35% in
the pre-test and 20% correspond to the post-test.
While in good there are significant differences as
indicated, 0% in pretest and 80% in posttest of the
group of university students
