Approaches to reading and writing in pedagogical practice in two case studies in Córdoba

Abstract

This investigation centered on the type of pedagogical
practices employed by teachers to develop
competencies literary-writer of the los Caso 1-
municipio of Ciénaga de Oro and Caso 2 municipio of
Momil –Córdoba, Colombia. The theoretical
structuring gives an account of the education politics
adopted in Colombia for more than 6 decades, and
how these guidelines shaped pedagogical practices.
As for the investigation paradigm, this is of a
qualitative nature. The case study was considered as
a method. And among the techniques considered
were: the questionnaire, in-depth interview, discussion
group, and content analysis. And it is concluded that
there is no evidence in most teachers of both cases, a
theoretical and epistemological appropriation of the
approaches to reading and writing. Although the test
Saber 3, is situated in the model by competencies,
both in Case 1 and in Case 2, the pedagogical models
and the plans tend towards the social cognitive,
constructivism and significant learning. Finally, two
new categories emerged from this study: teaching
commitment and affectivity.
